E-RETE Precast
Reinforced Piles are designed and manufactured in accordance with BS8004:
1986 and MS 1314: Part 1: 1993.
E-RETE Piles
can be driven by all types of conventional piling frames for foundation of
the following structure:
- Residential housing,
commercial and factory buildings
- Box culverts
- Pile embankments for roads
and bridges
- High rise buildings
- Retaining walls and other
concrete structures
Safe working
load of E-RETE is calculated in accordance with BS 8004 : 1986 CP 116 : 1969
and MS 1314 : 1993
Where

Note:
These working loads are only the structural capacities of piles. The actual
working capacities are dependent on the soil conditions and other
consideration but shall not exceed the max structural working load.

: 0.6% of gross volume over distance of 3x pile width from each end.

Lateral reinforment at pile body

: 0.2% of gross volume spared at not more than 1/2 x pile width.

Cement

: Ordinary Portland Cement complying
with MS522: Part 2 : 1989
|
|
Aggregate
|
: The coarse and fine aggregate shall comply with MS29. Maximum size
of aggregate shall be 20mm
|
|
Steel Reinforcement
|
: Steel reinforcement shall conform to MS144 and MS146
|
|
Mild Steel Plate
|
: Mild steel plate shall comply with BS4360
|
